Welcome to our 2014 Christmas Tour! I've had a lot of fun getting our home ready for family and friends. Since I went with a vintage feel I took a lot of my photos with the Instagram app.
Thanks for stopping by!
Last year I used jute webbing as ribbon but this red ribbon against the white railing has really grown on me!
(See last year's blog here!)
You better watch out!
Just the right spot for Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
Did I mention this is the actual size of our living room?! Small but cozy!
I love our tree in this basket. I used just glass and my German mercury ornaments this year. Keeping it vintage.
I tied a simple red velvet ribbon to the top of our tree this year, it also seemed appropriate for my vintage theme.
Our Fontanini creche from Italy. I love getting this out every year, it's like seeing old friends. My husband says the sizes are all out of order though...if the cow stood up he would tower over the Wise Men! Oh well, I had to get what I could when it went on sale!
Our snowmen collection, I didn't get them all out this year, just my favorites...most are missing their noses!
My cool retro lights I wrote about earlier ended up right here in a glass box...
Tippet on her new sofa bed from Rooms to Go!
Our long upstairs hall, the best way to fill up that space is with lots of family photos!
It is!
The bedrooms got a few little touches. My dear friend Lisa P. gave me this sign for the beach house but I love it here at Quarters One!
The master bedroom is headed for a makeover soon but for now it got a little Christmas cheer!
The third bedroom on this floor serves as an office space for two of us. I love the book shelves and the fire place, I wish it worked!
The walls are painted Perfect Greige by Sherwin Williams, although it's a little hard to see from these photos.
Another dear friend, Rob, gave me these beautiful spools of burlap ribbon and I thought they looked lovely displayed on candle sticks.
The drawing on this card was done by my sweet artist friend, Polly, who is from the UK...she is so talented! These are her precious boys.
