Three weeks into the New Year and if I had made any New Year's resolutions I would surely have broken them all by now. My birthday is the first of February so I like to make that my time for new resolutions . Truthfully, though, I think I'm just a huge procrastinator!
Two weeks ago I sat on one of the panels for a senior leadership development conference here in the DC area. I was honored to be among an amazing group of Army spouses and to be in front of some of our newest general officers' spouses.
It was a great way to start off the new year!
I reconnected with old friends and met some wonderful spouses who are excited to take this leadership baton and move forward.

| You just have to smile around Anne Bentley, she is a true and sweet southern belle! While each panel member had a different topic the message was basically the same… be kind, be a team player, be not judgmental. This is good advice whether you're a general's spouse, a PFC's spouse, or anyone belonging to the human race. My wish for you this new year is that you are blessed with peace and unconditional love for yourself and others.  (From Pinterest…love!) I think these will be my New Year's resolutions! |
