Aly's Christmas Quarters Tour

The center piece of the dining room table is simple but beautiful!
I'm not sure my own home is going to be particularly blog worthy this season so I'm happy to be able to share some of my friends' beautiful quarters over the next few blogs! Yesterday I was invited to a lovely brunch with my fellow co-workers and military spouses from La Bella Luce. Aly Rohling's quarters in Clifton are magnificent! They reflect her charming and eclectic personality. She and her husband, COL Andy Rohling, are completely self sufficient when it comes to home improvements and the result of their hard work (did I mention they recently moved in?) is magical.
So, without further ado, Merry Christmas from the Rohling's quarters!
The woodsy glam theme is captured here on the first of 9 trees in the  Rohling's quarters. It extends up the staircase and is evident throughout the house.
The front foyer opens to the dining room and the 12.5' table seats 14 comfortably!

The faux fireplace in the dining room has a chalkboard for seasonal messages.

The dining room chairs get a touch of whimsy!

The formal living room with a live tree adorned with crown ornaments.
Both of our husbands were once Bayonet 6, commanders of the 173d Airborne Brigade in Vicenza, Italy.

Eggnog anyone?!  Who can resist it served on a silver tray?
Coffee set up on the buffet in the living room.
The family room tree holds glass ornaments that have special meanings to each member of the family.

Brunch is elegantly served in the eat in kitchen.
A peek outside! Andy built this fire pit shortly after they moved in.  Fire and cozy blankets, what more do you need?!

The view from the top of the stairs. Even the second floor is full of Christmas joy!

The red and white hand stitched heirloom quilt makes an appearance each Christmas in the master bedroom.
Another faux fireplace in the master.
Stockings are hung with care all over!
Even the bathroom has a holiday feel.
Jack's room.
Bella's room.

And in the basement it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Of course, it's not your ordinary basement! It's very much an authentic Italian wine cellar!

Many thanks to Aly our gracious hostess and thank you for stopping by!

No detail is forgotten at the Rohling's!
