I'm always asked about my photos and what type of camera I use. All of my pictures are taken with my iPhone and edited through iPhoto or Instagram. However, my new very favorite app is Waterlogue for iPhone and iPad! It turns your favorite photos into beautiful watercolors. I love it with my other favorite app, Over, which allows you to write on your photos with lots of different fonts and designs. Both cost a few dollars but I think they're worth it.
After being "Waterlogued"! The words are an excerpt from the poem "Sea Fever" by John Masefield. I have fond memories of my Grandfather reciting this poem when I was a child.
I am going to try printing out a photo with the Waterlogue app and I'll let you know how it works. It could be a great and inexpensive way to populate your wall with memorable art. Or it might just be a fun app to play around with online, we'll see!

ReplyDeleteHey, Shand--
ReplyDeleteMy experience with Waterlogue is that printed photos look great--ready to frame. What an inexpensive way to add to our decor! And by the way, I just saw that we're on your blogroll. Thank you so very, very much!
